I hate this.

I have been on this app for a while. I've been designing, discussing, and losing brains cells here longer than most of yall. In my time (sheesh i sound old) I have been in a lot of squabbles, many of which were in (mostly) good fun.

Recently, however, the tones have changed. There is so much... garbage on this app now. That is not quite the right term, but it suffices to express the pile of comments, sex related jokes, and "hate." That word has been thrown around a lot lately.

Hate is a powerful word. It describes the indescribable feeling if anger you feel for something. It is a stomach churning, tear inducing, loathing feeling. It is (sorry for getting biblical) an extension of the Devil's wrath. I have had many a discussion with myself and found that I have never truly hated something nor someone.

I see that word used many a time and place. "No hate," and "im not hating," make up thirty odd percent of the comments I read. Yet all of the comments I read are filled with negative emotion and anger. It saddens me to see so many using people turning this fun and amazing app into something that it shouldn't be, something seething with "hate."

All this to say, I'm tired. I'm tired of the discussions, I'm tired of the pathetic squabbles, the attention grabs, the designer being down. I never really considered quiting RLG, but this is the closest I've gotten. "Take of this what you will, it doesn't matter anyway."
