Birth

Kevin the dinosaur was born on a fateful day in December 2015. Chris 'QuestFerret' Dolman, feeling left out of the Rocket League Central design process, set out to create a logo that could rival the quality of previous RLC designs. Naturally he failed, but in the attempt he created something that no other could, a badly drawn yet oddly cute dinosaur. Kevin got very little attention that day, but little did the world know the impact that Kevin would have the following day.

During the Rocket League Central Pro League NA Open Qualifier stream, Jamesbot did something that would change the future forever. Looking to buy some time, he displayed the then un-named dinosaur on stream to nearly two thousand viewers. For reasons unknown he became an instant hit, and it wasn't long before the demand for a dinosaur emote on the Twitch channel couldn't be ignored.

As he was first shown to the world on Dirkened's debut cast, the name Kevin was suggested as a memento of the wonderful day. The name caught on quickly, and by the following day Kevin had a name and was immortalised as an emote on the Rocket League Central Twitch channel.

Global Domination

Since that weekend, Kevin's presence has gone from strength to strength. Continued enthusiasm from various high profile names in Rocket League saw him become something of a household name.

SweetieGG's stream has become a second home for Kevin where he can run free and eat bread, away from the professional restraints imposed on him during RLC events. Donations see him rain from the sky in gratitude, and he is often seen in the pursuit of bread, his favourite food.
