Legacy (standard) items in shop

EPIC is putting original items that once came free with the game, now in the shop.( I.g.) snowflake’s boost 12/19/23

These were once standard items of the game and free to use. Personally I think this is insane. I know a lot of items are no longer free upon download since the game launched as a free to play years ago, so newer accounts don’t have them.

Not only is this bad because thousands of player were playing long before it was free to play RL and have these items already in their inventory are the main ones who spend money on the game but the newer accounts, the majority of them downloaded this game mainly because it’s free to play, hints they probably are not wanting to spend money on cosmetics. Especially if their not a serious player.

This also takes a slot out of the shop for many who already own these items. A slot that could potentially be something they would buy.

I would think if they were going to put a legacy item in the shop they would at least make it painted or remixed.

Anybody else think this is dumb and sleazy? just make it a free item for players that don’t already have it.

Greedy but dumb, they’re gonna ultimately lose money trying to sell these items.

Any thoughts?
