Starting today, Psyonix is celebrating the Haunted Hallows Event in Rocket League, which coincides with Halloween. They added items inspired by Disney Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, featuring characters like Jack Skellington, Sally, Oogie Boogie, and Sandy Claws. Players can earn spooky rewards by completing event challenges, and can play two Limited Time Modes available during the event. The event will run from October 18 to November 1.

Psyonix didn't announce any updates regarding the removal of trading since the initial announcement.

The update will offer bundles containing some of the new items. The Jack Skellington Bundle lets you dress up your car with Jack Skellington-themed items like the Octane Decal and Zero Topper. When you score a goal, the Jack Skellington Goal Explosion will scare your opponents with his spooky grin. And if you want a Halloween-themed song, check out the "This is Halloween" Player Anthem.

Some new items that were inspired by The Nightmare Before Christmas like the Sally Decal can be purchased from the Item Shop for 300 Credits.

There are also other character-themed items available. The Oogie Boogie Decal gives your car a burlap sack appearance, and the Oogie's Worms Boost features wiggling worms. If you're in the mood for some festive fun, there's the Sandy Claws Topper and the Man-Eating Wreath Wheels.

For those who want it all, The Nightmare Before Christmas Mega Bundle includes all the items from the Jack Skellington, Oogie Boogie, and Sandy Claws Bundles, along with the universal Sally Decal.
By completing challenges, you can earn various Halloween-themed rewards. These include player banners, avatars, toppers like the frankenblobby Bolt Head, and the Vampire Teeth Antenna for a nostalgic touch.

Additionally, there are Golden Pumpkins that grant items from the Turbo, Elevation, and Zephyr Item Series.

While the event is running, two limited-time modes can be played. In Spooky Cube mode, you'll play on the Farmstead (Spooky) Arena with a pumpkin instead of a ball. And in Haunted Heatseeker mode, the ball is possessed and will launch across the arena with the slightest touch. Be careful, as blocking the shot might send it right back towards your goal.

The Haunted Hallows Event in Rocket League starts on October 18.
