Season 10 has arrived, inviting players to take it easy and relax while collecting an abundance of new items. This season is all about relaxation and serenity, with new items that reflect this vibe. You can play Season 10 from March 8th to June 7th, 2023.

Rocket Pass Premium's highlight item this season is the new (but old) Volkswagen Golf GTI — a beloved classic with an Octane hitbox. It is available immediately with Rocket Pass Premium. There is also a tuned-up version, the Volkswagen Golf GTI RLE, that can be earned by working through the Tiers of the Rocket Pass. Both cars will come with a realistic set of wheels.

“EdgeLight” makes a return with the RLE edition Volkswagen Golf GTI. That is what Psyonix calls it, but it is essentially an underglow effect on the bottom of the car, similar to what you see on the Honda Civic Type R cars from Season 8.

In addition to the Volkswagen Golf GTI, players can collect a plethora of items to personalize their cars, including Synastry and Torque TX: Inverted Wheels, the Dimensionator Rocket Boost, and the Refractor Decal, among others.

At Tier 70 of the Rocket Pass Premium, players will unlock the Lotus Bloom goal explosion. It features a mesmerizing animation of a lotus flower opening up and exploding in a burst of energy. The effect is accompanied by a soothing sound, which matches the theme of relaxation for this season. To obtain this goal explosion, you will need to reach Tier 70 of Rocket Pass Premium.

The new arena for Season 10 is a variant of Deadeye Canyon. However, the arena has undergone a transformation and is now known as Deadeye Canyon (Oasis). The once barren landscape is now filled with lush vegetation and exotic wildlife. Players will be able to experience the serene ambiance it provides in all online game modes, including Casual, Competitive, and Extra Modes.

Psyonix has also teased an upcoming new arena for Season 10, with more details coming in “a few weeks.”

Now that Season 9 has ended, players are rewarded with new Wheels for their accomplishments in Competitive Mode. In-game titles will also be awarded for players at the Grand Champion and Supersonic Legend ranks.

We give this season a solid A. Everything we’ve seen from Season 10 so far looks gorgeous. The Golf GTI fits oddly well in the Rocket League universe, and we’re very glad Psyonix decided to add sets of realistic wheels — more of them, please! We’re thrilled with the Deadeye Canyon transformation to an oasis of greenery and wildlife… but we’re also slightly scared because ChatGPT predicted much of this 3 months ago 😳
