Am I hard stuck af??

So yesterday I (p2 div2) was playing with a friend (d3 div3) and he asked me to play ranked. First I was scared I never play over d1 so I was nervous. But then I realised that my mechs are good enough I can speed flip and d3 is just plat but only without double commitments and then I 1v1 my friend and he says I’m good enough for d2-3. Then tell me WHY THE F*** IM HARDSTUCK FOR 1 AND A HALF YEAR!!!! I really think my tm8s are trash but that motivated me to play more and train a lot more (sitting in free play). And my friend also says my 50s are good so ich just want a tm8 who is good enough. What do you think ? Am I hardstuck ? (Okay most people will say I’m just a plat 2 player who want to get carried and will hate me in the comments but tell me what do you think) Love y’all ❤️

You will never stay in diamond without a tm8 you play with constantly so you know them and have chemistry

Nah you just have to ball chase and out perform everyone. It’s working for me so far. I obviously don’t do this when I’m playing with someone good or a friend

It may also be just the gamesense side of the mechs. you could be using the wrong mech at the wrong scenario. or just relying on your teamate too much. Just let them do their thing and make mistakes while you capitalize on the other teams mistakes

Although i completely understand why you could be blaming your tm8s, you aren’t going to get anything out of that. Constantly calling them trash and pointing out their mistakes, 1 pisses you off 2. Blinds you from your mistake. Stay calm, no crashouts, and you will win more games.

Actually teammates can be the reason why your not at your peak. I wanted to test this so i went into gold lobbies and after a while i finally lost a game because the teammate i had didnt know how to play good defense or offense. Or even play in general. So we ended up losing with me having 4 goals so it actually can be teammates that hold you back.

Btw my dad is d2 and he says I have the mechs but need to work on consistency which just means play more hours in the game or you will never advance good things dont come to those who complain or give up but only go to those who pay the price and work for it.

I honestly don’t know. My number one advice is just be polite in the quick chats. Being toxic immediately makes it way harder for your teammate to play well. I’ll be going on a streak of good games with polite teammates and then get a toxic one and those games never go well…
