What are some songs you’ve heard that you think deserve more credit and recognition? For me I’d say Thing Called Love by NF (not to be mistaken with If You Want Love. Also a good song though)

Anything that isn't rap, pop or hip/hop... personally I've been enjoying metalcore bands and even dabbling into deathcore. Some great songs are: Prison Of Flesh by Lorna Shore, Famine by War Of Ages, and Through Struggle by As I Lay Dying

@Icysun and yes, some hiphop or rap has instruments, but they aren't doing much. As a guitar player I like listening to complex peices. Metal is literally just classical on steroids(Mostly lol, excluding breakdowns)

@Icysun honestly I think most hip hop/pop these days is really lacking creativity because it’s being milked for the decreasingly less musically talented populous. I gotta say though, despite not listening to it a lot, it seems to me that rap still has a lot of creativity and very talented musicians still (whether or not thats what you wanna call them 🤷‍♂️), I just don’t really enjoy listening to it.
