I’ve traded on and off for the past 3 years. I’ve been able to aquire items I never thought I’d be able to own and have excess credits to spend without putting money into the game. All of this only possible because of trading. A huge THANK YOU to Rocket League Garage for being the best trading platform to exist for this game. I have been true to myself... never got greedy, never tried to cheat or scam... I always be reasonably generous on negotiation but I guess that's all over now,it is been an honor to meet you and alot of other people during the trade on all those 3 years.I just can't process it still... Octane before playing for awhile for me. Eventually after I hit the grind in the markets for so long that I got into consistent habits and was able to focus on gameplay more. The gradual climb of gaining credits and items always felt so good. Having items unexpectedly pop in value and make major profits. I’ve given away my share of items and cut big deals too. There’s some toxicity in the community but moments like that always outweighed it

I was into trading waaaay back when Heatwave was whats hot in the market, the items at the time were not many, only a few number of wheels and decals, so Heatwave stood out and it was fire! (get it?? no? ok). and it was worth like 12-14 keys, back when the currency was crate keys, and 14 keys was crazy back then! i was just a kid and was trading on Xbox parties, i was desperate to get a Heatwave, but i couldnt, but now i have it and have everything else ive ever wanted through trading, i kept trading from time to time when i missed the game, but now the fun part of the game is gone, the game is kinda dead to me, RIP trading, press F in the chat :(

I love playing but trading was very special for me. I loved building my credits to get new items or other cool items I might’ve not been aware of. Having versatility on the field with items you might never even see. When I started trading black markets were hot and pricey. My favorite thing to trade for the first year

I have spent well over 2.5k hour trading in rl. I use to be big in to the game until I found trading. I remember the day when endo was 300 cr and I ended up selling it for 10 cr not knowing what it was worth at the time thinking I got the best deal of my life but I was far from it. I remember when there use to be community chats on psn that would just be going so fast it was hard to even see people’s posts, Having friends who would get a tw octane in 1week.

@Dragonsfly4u After I seen the tw octane’s my friends had bought my first 13k cr and bought myself a tw octane. It was from that day on I found out trading was the best part of rl in my opinion. My love for trading got even bigger coming in to free to play having even more people to trade with but then my inventory got hit like a truck. I was hack for everything on my account. I ended up getting everything back non tradeable and I got bonus gifts for my cr.

@addmypsnNightfaller45 no apology needed bro I appreciate the passion and enjoyment talking about the memories. I was gifted a TW fennec blueprint to start my trading and it took off from there. I never had to put another dime into the game. I remember also getting my first TW octane around 13k credits! And the psn communities were awesome. Aside from RL Garage that was my favorite way to get trades + streams on YouTube. I agree it was one of the best parts of rocket league. It felt like it’s own community. There’s a lot of enjoyment of bargaining, getting the items you want, and finding and giving deals!

@Dragonsfly4u I never got scammed or hacked but my account did get hit hard when I stopped trading and sat on items for a few months. When I came back the prices changed heavily on black markets, octanes, and other items

One of my last trades, I was trying to get some cool tw decals. I found someone who was willing and I booted up rl. I waited like half an hour, and when they finally showed up, they were super picky about the stuff i was giving. As I finished the trade, I said "have a good day," and then right before they leave they go like, "thanks for being scammed." LOL! I spent all night thinking back to see if I got scammed.

Lol that’s a tough one! As long as you’re satisfied with the trade! I’ve seen some crazy scams happen even friends of mine back when people would color swap items frequently. My last trade was a TW Harbinger that I wasn’t able to sell for years lol

Congrats on that! I remember my first one i go at 13,000cr. The highest i ever traded for it was 22,000cr! Crazy how much the price fluctuated. In the end I got one from the item shop haha

I used to trade a lot about 3 years ago when trading was getting really popular and before I knew anything I traded someone my lime octane for an imperator because I thought I was being different using the imperator, but I really just got scammed and didn’t even know until like a year later looool
