I think they consistently put bad items in the shop so then when actual good things comes in, more people will buy it. If they always put in good items I don’t think people would be as tempted to buy stuff. Not 100% sure though but that’s my theory

I think part of it is there’s not much between bad and good, so you have to put good items in sometimes, but that just means the rest is gonna be trash
