Is Metaverse killing RL

The hunt for a streamline Metaverse is now the main focus of Epic. LEGO and Sony have bought a huge chunk of Epic, in the hunt for a Metaverse. So I think that is what is killing RL. Streamlining. I know from many LEGO games like LEGO Worlds, that was an amazing game, but it was fast to die they did not follow up with updates. I think their main focus is to make a cash cow, to supply their billions of dollars, they want people to buy buy buy. We need a new gamedeveloper to make a similar game as Rocket League.
