RLCS 2025 BIRMINGHAM MAJOR IS HERE!

The Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) is back for the 2025 season! We have all the information you need ahead of the new season to make sure you’re up-to-date and ready for all the action.

A number of new changes were announced during the recent RLCS World Championship 2024 in Fort-Worth, Texas, United States.

The 2025 RLCS format sees an increased prize pool of $5,000,000 on offer for teams and individuals to battle it out across the year.

These changes are focused on increasing opportunities for fans, players and teams to be able to compete and watch more. There are four changes coming into action for the 2025 Season: adjustments to qualifications for Open Qualifiers, 1v1 events, LCQs for the Rocket League World Championship and expansion of the Rocket League World Championship to 20 teams.

Glad to see 1v1 getting some RLCS attention. I've always loved the game mode and thought something more than showmatches would be cool. I also like this recap of RL news. Informative and interesting, thank you.

They probably had to increase the prizepool so the pro teams don’t leave lol, anyway can’t wait to see how 1v1’s look like in rlcs and maybe they can and 2v2 as well in the future?

nice to see a slight increase in prize pool, but the lack of a 3rd major and the samller prizepool is still a far cry from 2022-2023.
