Defenders in high ranks

Anyone else feel as if defenders in diamond and higher are just garbage? Because all my teammates are very mechanical but they cannot defend.

I agree with what SunlessKhan said about the players in 2024

I could be paranoid, but I went from diamond 1 in 3s right down to gold this season, and it wasn't easy getting back to plat lol. I'm terrible at scoring, so I rely on my teammates for that, and I solo que because all my friends hate rl lol

Oh dude this is something that i hate -_- even in my c3 lobbies my tm8s whiff a LOT and most of the time in a 1v1 after a 50 my tm8 usually cant save the ball i feel like defense is one of the most important things to learn bc ik that i can definitely block anyone kinda easy (if its gc2 and above im gonna struggle lol)

I solo queued from plat to champ and did just fine. In order to solo queue a lot of things need to adjust such as mentality, expectations, and even playstyle to a certain extent.

Solo queuing, in my experience, is better practice for defense and offense legitimacy, even though ones can be very annoying (I'm talking to you demoers)

Yeah the people who can play both sides are the best teammates, but when you get the teammates who don't know how to play defense, it gets kinda annoying.
