Make sense 6 dec mean season end then now

Rocket league says trading ends on Dec. 6th now

They want money… there is an actual reason behind this so here’s how it goes. Your rocket league items transfer over to racing, so then epic realized that to get items for racing, you could just trade for it, so naturally, they removed the whole feature of trading so people have to buy new cosmetics for racing from rl, and they ignored the idea of locking the items that are traded so you can trade in rl, but not use those items in racing… you get it now, or you need some more explanation?
