@y_no_caca That's exactly what I was going to say! Fortnite items in Rl are already trade-locked, but the new trade lock code has not been activated yet.
Awesome! Where did you see they announced this? I know there has been evidence, but nothing to my knowledge was announced officially.

People trade those items because they are starters working their way up toward something better, and I applaud them for it! I used to be one of those players, but I worked my way up to some really awesome items. It is a challenge, a road, and a journey that united so many players, and why shoot down others' hope if it might come back? People know what they want and they know what trading means to them, and that's ok!
@Jaceisme The evidence is in the code of the game and Epic's complete failure right now. They are in a tight spot and trading might be the only thing to save them. The code of the game also includes information for a trade lock similar to trade-locked items when trading was a thing. The question is, why would they need to implement this code if trading is not a thing anymore? They are preparing for something like trading to happen again.
Hey, it's good to have hope. If evidence leads to trading being re-implemented, that is a cause to celebrate.
@y_no_caca It certainly would be hard to gain a bunch of stuff and find out you can't trade a thing. I'd be back down to square one with tradable items XD.

I think so! It is very plausible. A lot of evidence leads to yes, but it is not 100% yet, so I've got my fingers crossed!

@Jeff3358 First off, I'm a gold. Second off, my team is just fine and I play with my friends all of the time, but yes, I find that I carry from time to time if I'm not playing with friends. Thirdly, just because I'm a gold or silver does not mean I'm horrible, I can have lots of skills, but never play ranked.
