They couldnt back out without losing invertors and money backers. They backed out of fortnite free release of save the world from they're announcement in 2018. Already lost respect from a large player base and from their business partners. right now it's all about money. $40 car release dropped to a low (joking) $25 after people werent buying the car. Fortnite rally event. The Eminem "concert".etc... they really wanna milk the game before dropping it in the dirt. Its doubtful rocket league will have much for development in the final years here unless its a cosmetic item here and there or rocket pass.
