Celebrating 10 Years Of Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars

6 years ago by Fyshokid in Rocket League News

Hello everyone, this is Fyshokid writing to you as a representative of the old SARPBC community.

This post isn't about Rocket League, but rather its older brother, Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, or SARPBC for short, which most probably know was Psyonix's first offering in the vehicular football/soccer genre. Rocket League is of course a massively popular game, enjoyed by many across the globe, however going back 6 or 7 years, the SARPBC community was absolutely tiny by the same standards. You would be lucky to see more than 30-40 people playing the game at any one time.

One of the biggest community undertakings at the time were the "Community Montages". These were massive edited montages showcasing the skills of the community at large, while also meant to showcase SARPBC to the world.

In just a few short days, on February 12, it will have been 10 years since SARPBC was released in Europe. To celebrate this, I will be streaming the first two community montages in their entirety.

This is an important part of Rocket League history that you do not want to miss. If you have been following the competitive Rocket League scene, you are sure to find some familiar names in the community montages as they include SARPBC veterans like Kronovi, kuxir97, paschy90, M1k3Rules, JHZER and others.

So please come join on February 12 for an hour of Rocket League history. There may even be a little surprise at the end ;)

There will be two stream times. One to accommodate European viewers, and another for North American viewers. Feel free to show up to either:

1st stream

9PM CET / 8PM GMT

NA re-stream

10PM EST / 7PM PT

Hope to see you there,
