Woah,Okay. Part 3 (LAST)
Part Three:
Letâs talk about why walking away just because the vibes shifted doesnât really make sense.
First offâif youâre leaving because âitâs not the same anymore,â well⌠no kidding. Nothing stays the same forever. Every community, every creative space, every platform evolves. Thatâs not failureâthatâs life. Growth isnât always flashy, and progress doesnât always look like a packed feed or constant hype. Sometimes, it looks like showing up through the quiet.
Leaving because itâs not âcoolâ anymore? Thatâs letting trends make your choices for you. Thatâs forgetting why you started. If you were here for creativity, expression, friendship, supportâthose things donât vanish just because fewer people are watching. In fact, they might matter more when the noise dies down.
Honestly, thereâs something kind of tragic about people abandoning a space they once lovedânot because it stopped having value, but because they stopped valuing it when the spotlight moved on. Thatâs not growth. Thatâs giving up.
And letâs be realâdrama isnât a reason to leave; itâs a reason to lead better. If the culture is shifting in a negative way, we donât fix that by ghosting. We fix it by showing up differently. By being the kind of presence that brings things back to what made this space worth joining in the first place.
So no, sticking around isnât naiveâitâs bold. Itâs refusing to be passive. Itâs recognizing that you are part of what gives this place meaning.
If we want more creativity, more community, more connection, we donât find that by leaving. We build it by staying.
And if some people think thatâs uncool? Good. Let them. Youâre not here to impress them. Youâre here to create something real.
