I've seen someone beat up Dark Souls bosses with a literal toaster as controller, a friend of mine is playing with an old, zombified and frankensteined Steam controller and is still comfortably chilling in Champ. Play with whatever you can play best, if that happens to be a $10 walmart knockoff then let people talk, they don't get it.
