Rocket leagues current state of ever coming back to top ten status

I think that rocket league has been quickly dying and epic has been making the worst decisions for their status, and their player base throughout all their games. Throughout these last couple of years, epic has bombed rocket league to the floor, and removing trading (RIP) was the worst decision since psyonix gave epic this game. I would like to know your guys’ thoughts on if epic will ever to anything at all to help the current state of the game.

Rocket League, like many other games, got a massive boost in playercount in 2020 due to the pandemic/quarantine. I would like to direct your attention towards the more recent Covid strain NB181, given the decisions Epic Games made and how well those were received, you're more likely going to find the answer of your question in the affect this variant is going to have on the population.

Absolutely, i also think epic is going to find a way to save the game (without adding trading), and make is much more popular for about a year. Then, ofc, epic will probably find a way to shit the bed and make the game die an excruciating death. So before that happens i’m gonna practice my ‘surprise’ face.

I hope so!! Everyone that I introduced this game to has loved it!! I think mainly a lot of people are lazy and don't want to put in a bunch of work to rank up in a kids car soccar game. Because it takes work, effort, and determination. People don't have that anymore. Its sad to see.

Here’s an idea: we band together as a community, start a multi million dollar business and us all of the money to buy epic games, bring back trading, overhaul the display style, make more items for drops, and totally ruin Fortnite for our own entertainment :)
