PS4 controller life

I have a ps4 controller that I’ve been using for abt 800hrs+400hrs on Minecraft (plus about a hundred more in other games) the xo[]/\ buttons are starting to get squishy and sometimes they press weird. Anyone know how long one of these really lasts? Should I get a new one? I don’t really know. 🤔
