Trading in Fortnite

Idk if you guys have seen, but pickapixel released a vid about trading. He said epic are planning on adding trading in Fortnite. I’m not much of a fortnite player but what he said is that because of the cross game ownership, if they add trading to fn, then they’ll most certainly add it to rl. What do you guys think and also if you’ve got anymore info abt trading coming to fn

Pickapixel has had a terrible track record when it comes to rumours about trading making a comeback, also glancing over Fortnite trading rumours, they're pretty aged, I wouldn't count on Epic Games actually adding it to Fortnite and I honestly don't see a reason why that should relate to trading in RL but I'd love to be proven wrong and see it making a comeback.
