Is this real??

I haven't played in a bit but when I did I was doing bothe terrible and great. My friend got to champ and I got near diamond 3 but fell down to plat 3. I've beaten champs before and put up a good fight in those lobbies but yet I can still lose to a plat, my friend says I have a "mirror playstyle" which he claims is why I can win and lose against players with large rank gaps. It's not like my tm8s carry either I can still get mvps with my friend even tho he's at a higher rank. Is this a real thing?

Being able to beat champs doesn’t mean you deserve it. I can hang in c3 lobbies but that doesn’t mean I deserve it. And 1s and 2s are completely different chances are you just aren’t good at 1s. If you deserve champ you’ll get it. Biggest tips would be don’t tilt q and focus on yourself not your tm8s

And don’t just spam 2s every time u get on. Training is often way more important for improvement

@Blacknight8400 I relate to this discussion every time I play comp with @Blink we win until we q and there’s a Gc but I can’t beat a diamond in casual 2s with him I just get to comfortable because I say to myself ā€œthere just diamonds so there badā€ so I don’t try as hard but when I stay trying I loose every 50 then I start panicking and sell
