The best scenario I can come up with is that they are gearing up for something huge, like redesigning the whole game or something (UE5 maybe). Perhaps this is a pause in trading and in around a couple months, once things are sorted out, they could reintroduce it, but maybe better. Importing the whole game would probably require some sort of pause in trades so that the accounts they are transferring aren't changing inventories. Why they wouldn't tell us, I don't know. It could be a new year's surprise, or Christmas surprise, who knows.

I sadly do not think they will bring it back. they removed it to make it match something with their policy which they will probably not change
