Name Changing

my friend told me to change my name and gave me a bunch of nice names. But since i play on xbox, my xbox name is the name that shows when i score or check the scoreboard. Since i already changed my name, i have to pay money. Does anyone know if there is another way where i dont need to pay money?

On xbox no, but u can change ur epic name but it still wont show up when u score. It will show when someone invites you.
