Is it hard to rank up for you guys in 1s?

Im stuck at gold 2 in 1s and I’m plat 1 and 2 in 2s. I’ve been grinding 1s but haven’t changed rank since I got plat at the beginning of the season. I feel like I’m better than all the people that I play. But I can’t seem to rank up.

It’s just a cycle, you’re grinding up the leaderboard and then the next thing you know you’re stuck in the same rank. Maybe play with other tm8 you know that can keep up

@AshRL1121 I was stuck in d3 for 4 years before I got champ. but in 1s I am only diamond but its very easy to win games if I would really try, but Im more focussing on 2s

depends if you're solo queuing or not, i am plat 2 in 1s and 2s but you cant say that exactly because i am kind of having an easy time in plat 2, i see 1s as a very good way to learn the game and improve your skills as you have more time depending on yourself.

Honestly, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but for the first time ever I've found it easier in 1s to rank up than I've found it in 3s. I've either become terrible at 3s all of a sudden, or psyonix gave me shit rng for teammates lol

Still, if I play 30 matches of 1s then that's three GCs I'm facing. But anyway, I'm pretty much done with competitive ones for the rest of the season, I'm just having fun hitting clips on heatseeker.
