NEW MECHANIC!!!!!

I am gold 1/gold 2 player and was trying to learn how to half flip and accidentaly created a new mechanic. THE "Forward half flip". Tutorial: Front flip and then immediately pull back on the joy stick and air roll at the same time. Usage: Quick Direction Change: Use this technique when moving at high speed and needing to turn around quickly. It can replace the powerslide for smoother and faster direction changes.

Maintaining Momentum: Helps keep your speed up while changing directions, useful in fast-paced situations.

I’m pretty sure that’s just a forwards half flip and not very useful but send a clip of it and I’ll check it out

Not really a new mechanic, sorry. It's not as effective as one would hope. The flip cancels does retain some momentum sure, but the subsequent landing after the actual reversal still requires lots of boost to gain speed.
