@Singular_method12446 I don't think any designer that complains about copying, would have a problem if people asked. The issue is when they don't. Or, when they do, the designer says no, so they do it anyway,or change enough items so that it doesn't look like a copy anymore. It's still a copy.

That's just the brain giving them an avenue to copy and get away with it, even if they don't themselves realise it. It's a failsafe, you see a suck design, you want it, you wish you made it, your brain gives you a way. But it always leaves tracks. It's copying, with an alibi. Clever.
