The designer on the website and the designer in the app are one and the same thing, two different interfaces accessing the same server, basically. The car designer utilizes the game in ways it was never programmed or optimized for, which means even small changes/updates can break it.

I can see that but when trading was around, the designer worked 99.9% of the time. Now its pretty much down every single day.
