How to get popular on RLG: 1. Make designs and comment on discussions frequently. This will help more people become aware of you. 2. Like your own designs. This is not cheating (someone tell me if I’m wrong) because designs need at least one like to appear on the front page, so until they get that like, almost nobody is going to see them. 3. Be mindful of copies. When designing, I have found it can be difficult to come up with a popular design that doesn’t look like something someone has already created. Spend some time looking at popular designs to decrease the chances of accidentally making a copy 4. Be respectful and nice. Don’t boost your designs asking for likes, most people view this as cheating. Try to be friendly to everyone. People are much more likely to follow you if they have a good first impression. 5. Avoid making comments that are this long 💀

@Llama15 almost perfect. For number 5 it's not that most people consider it cheating, it's actually against rlg rules so it IS cheating. Asking for likes, follows, begging for upvotes, it's all the same. Don't do it.

@JULA11 liking your own designs is fine as far as I'm aware. You're not allowed to make any alt accounts though, I think incase you make them to like your own designs.

@wxshed_ you'd think so. However, over the years people have become very clever in how they go about boosting their designs. There are rules about it, it's just that people never bother to read them unfortunately. A common way is private messaging people asking them for likes, and trading likes with each other. "Like my designs and I'll like yours" etc. It's all against rlg rules.

@Llama15 that is how it's always been. Good content always speaks for itself. It doesn't need selling. That's what's always made this app better than twitter, insta, all of them. No fake ass people selling selling selling, stuffing crap content down people's throats just for attention and likes. On here, the best content wins. At least until the numbers of people got so low rhat the needy and talentless began to take hold. This is why I had to say what I've said. People are killing this app, not trading being gone.
