@PlexyIsHere Epic Games removed trading from Rocket League, officially stating it was to align with their broader policy across titles—where in-game items aren’t tradable, sellable, or transferrable—and to support future cross-game ownership features. However, the community widely believes the real reason was to increase profits by forcing players to buy items directly from the in-game store, cutting out third-party and player-to-player trades. Removing trading also reduces scams, fraud, and customer support costs, giving Epic more control over item distribution and monetization

@uluvvicy Also, removing trading in Rocket League was mostly tied to Epic's plan for cross-game item ownership, including integration with Fortnite. Allowing items to move between games requires tighter control over inventories, which trading would complicate. Which basically means that, they value on game more than the other😂😭
