Doubtful. As far as I am aware, pickapixel has been the most vocal about it and rectified his mistake about a week ago where he said the supposedly new trading agreement in the EULA has actually been in there since 2017. We hope trading comes back, but there has been nothing suggesting this would be the case. Everything so far has been hearsay, mostly about old/new items including trade-related code. And even if that is the case, it doesn't have to mean anything. Newly added items could be based on,- or include older code that was made with trading in mind. Spending time and money to remove these remnants brings no benefit, rather risks the chance of interfering with something else that now needs additional fixing. Unless Epic Games themself make an announcement that trading is coming back, I wouldn't believe whatever social media and influencers say.
