There was a verse I was reading a few days ago where people were trying to discredit Jesus because he “wasn’t from Bethlehem” like the messiah was supposed to be. Joke’s on them lol

@Vaylence I think it was literally the Pharisees, AND they were in the temple, so it wouldn’t have been that hard for them to go find the documents (lineage and such things were very important in their culture) and find out that Jesus was, in fact, born in Bethlehem, and was, in fact, a descendant of David

@Vaylence unfortunately anything we could've used as evidence to determine such things today were burnt by the Romans oh so long ago, and the Muslims after them.
