Today, Psyonix released more information about the much anticipated holiday content that will be coming to Rocket League. We knew it would be in December, but now we know a lot more.

Snow Day is the new name for the ice hockey inspired mutator that was announced a while ago. Featuring a puck rather than a ball and an ice-covered arena, Snow Day will replace the current Mutator Mash-Up playlist from December 14th through until January 4th.

Alongside the Snow Day mutator will come seven new Winter themed items, including a Santa hat and Antlers, both of which look great. The other items will be the a Rocket Trail simply called 'Xmas,' which appears to be based on a ribbon with presents, Christmas Tree and 'Sad Sapling' toppers, plus Candy Cane and Holiday Gift antennas. 

All of this content will become available for free on December 14th. The festive items will drop in a similar way to the Halloween items. Make sure you unlock them all before the end of the event on January 4th, otherwise you'll not be able to unlock them until next year.

The Chaos Run DLC will drop on December 1st, which is less than a week away! It will cost $3.99 or your local equivalent on Steam or the Playstation Network and contains two new cars and a selection of vehicle decorations.

Coming with Chaos Run also comes the new 'Wasteland' map, the first of the promised non-standard maps. The pitch is wider and uneven, and which should add a new layer of strategy and fun to every game played on it. The map is completely free for all players.
