Rocket Royale week 9 wrapped up yesterday with a rather exciting exhibition of the new rosters that will make their full debut in this week's RLCS Open Qualifier 2. You can watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/rocketleaguecentral.

The group stages were rather uneventful: Flipsid3 Tactics and SnK advance out of Group A with Unrivalled going down 2-1 to SnK in the second chance bracket. Group B saw We Dem Girlz and C&J Blaze advance through to the knockout stage. Group C had Ka-Pow and Team Celerity advance with a 2-0  win for Team Celerity over Miracle Workers in the second chance finals. Finally EU Group stages ended with JJJ Squad and C&J Frost advancing.  NA Group A had iBP Cosmic move through with a 2-0  over Goomba Squad, while the latter moved through with two 2-0s over Finger Puppet Mafia. Group B saw the first upset as Helicobters(Jacob Snaski and Klassux) moved past Genesis(who later advanced to the knockouts through the second chance bracket). Group C featured a strong Mock-it NA team and a quietly successful PXI. Finally Lucky Bounce and Vision convincingly moved through the group stage to complete the NA bracket.

In EU Knockouts Flipsid3 Tactics continued to show their dominance walking through the knockout stage 3-0 over C&J Blaze and 3-1 over JJJ Squad to move on to the International Finals. JJJ marched on through a Team Celerity who were happy to be in the Knockout rounds 3-1 before their eventual fall to Flipsid3 Tactics. We Dem Girlz swept past SnK 3-0 to set up a final match with a surging Ka-Pow(With Violent Panda) who won a hard fought set over C&J Frost 3-2. We Dem Girlz eventually would advance to the finals alongside Flipsid3 with a 3-2 victory over Ka-Pow. NA Knockouts were more intense featuring a gargantuan battle in game 1 with iBuyPower moving 3-2 over Genesis to set up a finals berth. Another intense match followed as Phoenix Infinity squeaked past Lucky bounce 3-2 before being dismantled 3-0  by iBuyPower. On the other side of the bracket Helicobters comfortably beat Goomba Squad 3-1 and Mock-it NA swept by Vision 3-0.

The bracket ended with Helicobters losing a hard fought series 3-2 to Mock-it NA.

The International Finals began with a 3-2 win for Mock-it NA over Flipsid3 Tactics, a suprising upset result for the new look Mock-it roster featuring Zanejackey over Low5ive. On the other side We Dem Girlz confidently moved past iBuyPower 3-1. In the second chance bracket iBuyPower was eliminated 3-0 by Flipsid3 Tactics. Mock-it NA suprisingly continued their run beating We Dem Girlz 3-2 to move on to the Grand Finals. We Dem Girlz swept by Flipsid3 3-0 for their rematch in the grand finals with Mock-it NA. In  the Grand Finals the shock win came from Mock-it NA with their new roster to take down We Dem Girlz 4-2 and be crowned champions of Rocket Royale.
