I think alpha console shouldn't be a thing at all and that rocket league should try and remove it somehow, it defeats the whole point trading towards you're own style

I disagree with the winners. I sent in my submission thinking the theme was 'summer'. Summer does not mean fire or patriotism. It's weird.

@yeet_fliking I didn't submit an entry this time but I did for the spring contest and I actually traded for the items I used in my design. However, this kind of rule is going too far in my opinion, you could also say that it's unfair for those who don't have enough keys to trade for the items they need. It would also be near impossible to enforce a rule like this.

@metazolid I understand. I think you're right though, the rule needs be reworked to make it clearer on what is and isn't allowed for next time. I feel that in this case the added items or 'details' go beyond just 'touch ups' and are in fact an integral part of the actual design (which is very good by the way) and gave this entry and unfair advantage.

Not quite sure why mine wasn't a picked design and why one of the winners is against the rules... One person shouldn't pick top designs they should all be displayed for voting

@rocketlauncher15 Car designs by themself can only be made with items that are available ingame, to which rule #4 applies to. It's allowed to add details to enhance a final composition, we are however going to rework this rule to make sure to keep photoshop edits at a considerable level.

So the rule "4. No custom items (items used must be obtainable in game)." doesn't apply to #2 then?
