Hey everyone!

Back in February we posted a State of the Site article, in which I hinted that RLG was thinking about doing some interesting new things. Truth be told, this isn’t specifically one of the things we were thinking about (we were thinking more about media projects in general - more on that soon). But when we heard that Cole and Stumpy were looking for sponsors, we thought we’d reach out.

If you’ve not heard of Cole and Stumpy, 1) where have you been? and 2) you should check them out immediately. They've been streaming high (...ish) level Rocket League action since 2015 on their SubParButInHD Twitch channel, and have been ever-present faces at the forefront of the Rocket League community.

They’ve been involved in a lot of Rocket League’s finest moments such as leading the crowd at Landon in 2018, casting at the Gfinity Elite Series and various Insomnia LAN events. More recently they’ve been plying their trade on the biggest stage that Rocket League has to offer - The RLCS! Oh, and they’re the 2020 UK Streamer(s) of the Year too. Those are alright credentials, I guess. 

Anyway, one thing led to another, and as of episode 62, RL Garage is now an official sponsor of the Poddy C! Going forwards, we’re going to look at different ways we can collaborate, but to begin you’ll be able to hear a shoutout or two for RLG on each episode. In episode 62 they tried to give us some new slogans too, listen to the episode and let us know if we should adopt any of them officially.

The Poddy C has been running on and off since 2016, featuring some fantastic guests including Athena, Johnnyboi, Sunlesskhan, and GarrettG, amongst others. Plus whoever’s on and whatever the subject, Cole and Stumpy’s loveable charm and scampish ways will keep you listening.
