Thank you all for participating in this months Design Contest! We've had so many, great submissions this time around, it's amazing what you people can put together.

I'm delighted to note that more Nintendo Switch submissions have been sent in than usual, it's great to see an increase of participation from this part of our community. Keep it up!

We're going to keep this series running for each month from now on, expect more and exciting Design Contests coming up in the future!

Honestly dont think Number 3 and 1 deserve their spots, 3 is alright except for the boost, it just doesnt match with the rest, 1 is just generic, doesnt even have a boost in it, understandable since its hard finding a matching boost for it, but honestly, why vote for a design that probably took someone like not even 10 minutes to make. Seriously, everyone knows that huntress and infiniums fit together, its not anything original, at least number 3 is original, but that ones just crap :( so sad that the actual good designs didnt get any attention

@RicoSteves If you consider this article to be advertising; You need to know that it has been written after the voting period has ended. All submissions are visible at the same time when public voting begins. The votes are hidden as well and no designs are promoted to avoid bias. It's not a good idea to give each user 100 votes and expect them to grind trough 400+ submissions without missing anything and still expecting any meaningful results. This is why we have an elaborate process in which the jury, consisting out of long time design enthusiasts, are distributing points and votes on individual submissions to make out the highest ranking for public voting. We actually increased of designs for public voting from 12 to 24 in order to include even more outstanding submissions while still keeping the voting process within reason. We keep the contest as fair as possible for the given time frame and amount of submissions we receive every time.

It's not actually a competition if Rocket League itself promotes certain designs from day 1 and hides all the others... "Cyber Lime" and the others were on the front page of the contest the entire time so of course it's going to rank high. Equally promote all submissions or this is just a scam.

SCHNULLIE Comment is 100% truth... This contest is not fair. I spend 2h to take shot of perfect placed car with explosion and everything and guys with just staying car winning the contest.. This photoshop rule sucks

I dont like the first design tbh. I liked the Design Contests because of creative Cars and new ways to make a nice looking car. But the first place isnt really that special. It may look good but it aint creative. I never saw the design of the third place tho. I like that one way more than the first one. Thats also the reason i dont participate anymore. When i do, i try to be atleast a bit creative. But getting beaten by a standart clean design that many people know and like is just frustrating to see, when u put much effort into ur own designs. I dont want to say my designs are good. Its just the simple Fact i rarely see something new.

Too many similar designs. There were plenty of better designs that should have been in the final 24. There shouldn't be any photoshop or bakkesmod either, only use the tools in the replay.

I'm glad so many are enjoying my contests :D I generally advise against the use of Bakkesmod and creating individual contests per platform in order to avoid it, will exclude more people than bring them together. The margin of users who actually submit bakkesmod designs is luckily pretty small and therefore negligible.

I feel like you should have contests for each platform. I feel like the quality of a design is being overtaken by making each platform have a chance of winning. It also makes it more fair for everyone. (console players don't have bakkesmod)
