We are quickly approaching the culmination of Qualifier 2's Group Stage, yet I still see several questions about the RLCS Season 1 format. Hopefully this post will answer any remaining questions and help to clarify how all of this works!

The Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS), presented in partnership by Psyonix Studios & Twitch Esports, is a multi-stage competitive event with a prize pool of $75,000. The RLCS is split up into 3 main parts: Qualifier 1, Qualifier 2, & the International Live Finals (LAN). Each Qualifier is split up into 3 main parts: Open Play-In, Group Stage, & Online Finals. At the end of each Qualifiers, the Top 8 teams will earn points based on their final placement. The points breakdown can be found below.
