Poof is Back! Musty's Garage Bundle

6 months ago by QuestFerret in Rocket League News

It’s been a good few months since the last Creator’s Garage Bundle dropped on the Rocket League item shop, but the clock resets today as Psyonix have announced Musty’s Garage has just hit the store! With more than 730 thousand Twitch followers and two and a half million YouTube subs, he’s a great choice to be featured in Rocket League's latest bundle.

The general concept of a Creator’s Bundle is that Psyonix will select a popular content creator from the community, and have them pick a full car loadout of their choice. These items will then be bundled together and sold on the in-game item shop at a favourable price.

The first bundle out was from Athena, which was, somehow, now four months ago. That time we had Titanium White Dueling Dragons, Black Yamane wheels, an Orange Octane and more. It’s safe to say that Musty’s bundle has a lot to live up to - and I'm glad to say that he’s done a very good job!

First up is the ever-popular Octane body, this time painted in Lime. That body is sitting on top of some standard Cristiano wheels, and while they may sound boring, they’re the perfect choice when you consider the rest of his picks. His decal of choice to go on the body is the 20XX, which is definitely up there as one of the best in the game.

Behind the car, Musty’s Lime Octane has the Sparkles boost in Crimson, which is actually the most valuable item in the bundle, and there’s also the shop-exclusive Classic trail painted in Lime.

The most exciting part of the bundle for many though is the goal explosion which is - wait for it - Poof! Poof was originally an untradable item from a Rocket Pass back in early 2019. Given that season ended well over two years ago and we’ve not seen it since, it’s not an explosion you see often. That might be about to change though as Musty has selected Poof, painted lime, to round out his bundle, and it’s sure to be very, very, popular.

In terms of overall value, the tradable items for this bundle come at around 2800 credits, and that’s not including the shop or ancient Rocket Pass exclusive trail and goal explosion. Given the popularity of the Poof goal explosion in particular, this bundle could easily be worth more than 5000 credits if it was tradable.

So, the question is how much will the bundle set you back? The answer to that is a mere 2000 credits, which, if you want everything in the bundle, obviously represents incredible value. Just remember that no items bought on the item shop are tradable, so only make the purchase if you want enough of the items for it to be worth it.

Musty’s bundle is available right now, and will run until December 8th 2021. As always, if you want the bundle then try and find those credits quickly, because it’ll be gone before you know it.

I have to say a huge thank you to Musty for picking some great items, particularly that goal explosion, it’s amazing to see Poof back. I’m not sure I’ll be jumping at the chance to pick it up myself given the green colour, but I’m sure a lot will. Make sure you go and check out Musty’s content on either YouTube or Twitch, he’s one of the best Rocket League creators out there.

Let me know down in the comments what you make of this bundle, will you be buying it? Too green for you? If you do make the purchase, please consider using the creator code RLGARAGE. As an Epic Partner, RLG will receive a small cut of any purchases that you make using it, at absolutely no cost to you.

If you want to support Musty instead then the code is MUSTY, I won’t hold it against you given that it’s his bundle.

TL;DR Item List

Octane (Body - Lime)  20xx (Decal)  Sparkles (Boost - Crimson) Cristiano (Wheels) Standard (Trail - Lime)  Poof (Goal Explosion - Lime)

Lime classic with lime poof… is a death wish. Why would you paint two things that were never meant to have color? People would only do it for the crimson sparkles or lime octane to be fairly honest

Doubt that TW Apex will ever be in such a Bundle. But Apex will come back on Twitch like Dune Racer this Season.

Dislike this Bundle, Athena had Orange Octane + TW Dueling Dragons and was easily worth it. But this? Unpainted normal Cristianos? Lime Poof and lime Classic … lame.

This bundle is decent, but I would prob price it about 1000-1500, just cause of the prices the item shop gives stuff
