Jurassic World Bundle
They say all good things must come to an end, and that holds true for Rocket League’s Summer Road Trip. As we reach the end of July there’s just one stop left, but it’s a good one - Jurassic World. Home to Velociraptors, T. Rex's and a spotless safety record. Just ignore all those rumours.
Originally unleashed back in June of 2018, the Jurassic World Car Pack was released to coincide with the release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The star of the pack is the authentically recreated Jeep Wrangler that’s often used to get around the park, complete with all the branding, straight from the film.
It’s not quite as unique as last week’s DeLorean, there’s no special particle effects, there’s no folding wheels, and there’s no cool lighting, but it still looks awesome. It also uses the Octane hitbox which a lot of people will know and love.
This bundle has another trick up it’s sleeve too though, and that’s the excellent T. Rex goal explosion. You don’t see it much these days, but it’s up there with some of the best goal explosions Psyonix have released to date. The only way you can unlock it is by purchasing this pack.
Along with the body and explosion, there’s also a set of wheels and custom engine audio for the Jeep, a Jurassic Park hard hat topper, three antennas, and also three player banners.
The full contents of the pack is as follows:Jurassic Jeep Wrangler T.rex Goal Explosion Jurassic Jeep Wrangler Wheels Jurassic Park Hard Hat Topper Jurassic World Antenna Jurassic Park Antenna InGen Antenna Jurassic Jeep Wrangler Engine Audio Jurassic Park Player Banner Jurassic World Player Banner Mr. DNA Player Banner
You can buy the entire bundle for 1100 credits, or alternatively you can buy the car pack and the T-Rex goal explosion individually for 800 credits each. The full bundle obviously represents better value, although at around 11 dollars (or your regional equivalent) it is noticably more expensive than it used to be, prior to Rocket League going free to play.
The bundle is available for one week, from 22nd July to the 28th July 2021. After that the bundle will disappear from the store, and we don't know when, or if, it will return.
So, for the last time on the summer road trip - will you be buying the bundle? Let us know down in the comments, If you do go for it, maybe consider using RLG’s creator code too, which is RLGARAGE. As an #EpicPartner, RLG will receive a small cut of any purchases made using it, which will help keep the site running.
