Crown & Jewels Roster Changes

8 years ago by QuestFerret in Esports

Crown & Jewels took to Twitter today to announce several big changes to their Rocket League organisation.

Stocki Leaves

We've had our suspicions for a while as he's not been seen in the starting line-up for several weeks, but it's now official that Stocki has left Crown & Jewels. C&J's first tweet of the day confirms that he left the side a week ago on good terms. Where he's going next we don't know, but we're sure he won't be without a team for long.

Three New Players Join

Crown & Jewels are losing a great player in Stocki, but they're bringing three new ones into the organisation. Khaelen will be leaving Absolution to join up with C&J, and Sebadam and Taur3x will be joining him there, bringing the side to a total of six players.

C&J Frost and C&J Blaze to Form

Crown & Jewels are splitting off two teams according to this tweet, with one line-up named Frost and another named Blaze. The Blaze team will see long time Crown & Jewels players Yeezy and KillerNo7 join with Khaelan, while Frost will see ViolentPanda playing alongside Sebadam and Taur3x.

JohnnyBoi Joins as Coach

It seems JohnnyBoi left the Mockingbirds earlier this week when they brought Bipod onto the team and changed their name. He wasn't out of a job for long, though, as he'll be joining Crown & Jewels as their team manager, taking over from CrS. CrS will taking up a purely backroom role as CEO of the Crown & Jewels eSports organisation.

Crown & Jewels have been on the slide for several weeks now, falling to 9th in the power rankings, so these changes could come at a perfect time. Whether running two different squads is the answer to their problems remains to be seen, but JohnnyBoi is one of the most knowledgeable people involved in Rocket League, so if anybody can make it a success it's likely him. Running two squads gives them a lot of players to work with, so we wouldn't be too surprised to see experiments with players switching between rosters as time progresses. Whatever happens, we wish Crown & Jewels the best of luck and hope that these changes go some way to help improve their form.
