Do you still remember the first car designs you put together? It was a challenging time with few items to pick from, maybe a few colored wheels and toppers if you got lucky. A truly challenging time in which we tried our best to impress our teammates and opponents alike with those few items we owned and the coolest player on the field had painted Sunbursts.

Let's make this contest about the humble beginnings that has Rocket League and trading been and dig out some of the good 'ol items you always kept close.

This time the contest is restricted to items that have been released before December 8th 2016, which means you can use all items from the Champion 1-4 Series, Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars, and Chaos Run DLCs and some of the Single Item releases like the Masamune and Vulcan. More recent painted variants of old items, for example painted Octanes or painted decals like Dominus: Mondo which drop from the Revival Blueprint, are excluded from this contest as well.

You may use all common items. A full list of items is listed at the bottom of this page.

How does it work?

Once the contest begins (on December 16th at 12pm CET), you'll be able to submit up to
two battle-car designs. Submissions will be verified by our staff. During the submission period,
you will be able to view recent submissions from other users.

When submissions close (on December 20th at 12pm CET), our staff will pick the top 12 best submissions.

On December 21st at 12pm CET, voting will begin. All users will be able to vote on their favorites of the 12 picks. The voting period will end after 48 hours.

Prizepool

1st place will receive 3000 Credits.
2nd place will receive 2000 Credits.
3rd place will receive 1000 Credits.

3. Photoshop is allowed, as long as it does not overlap the car.
