I want to think it's coming back but I don't think it is RL will make a post on there website if it was coming back unless if they want to surprise us.

Doubtful it ever will be available again. Everything mentioned so far has only been speculation, based on nothing more than Rocket Racing receiving no more themed updates, as well as changes to trading related code in an RL update dating as far back as September. Keep an eye on Rocket Leagues official Twitter @RocketLeague, everything else regarding this topic I'd consider clickbait and sensationalized hot air.
