Titanium White items still matter right?

The other day my friend said that titanium white painted items don’t matter anymore or aren’t popular unless if they are car bodies. I got kinda mad because since I am not a kinda guy who cares about value that much I thought that I care because when I get any painted or certified item I get really excited because they are cool to me (I am an silver so maybe that has something to do with it) but I want a second opinion (a nice but honest one(probably won’t get that but it’s worth a try))
