Unpainted Inventory Items

Unpainted inventory items randomly change to painted colors. Sometimes they stay unpainted, other times I check my inventory and it shows them painted.

I never did anything with my inventory section until yesterday when I started adding items. I know another persons inventory had the same issue of unpainted turning into painted items but I'm not sure if it's a new issue or one that's been happening for awhile now.
