Colors on designer not working

What you were trying to do: just trying to make new design

What you expected to happen: i would click the colours and the colours screen would go away and i could do the secondary

What actually happened: i clicked a few times but it wouldnt go away but then i clicked outside the box then did the secondary and the same thing happened

i selected the colour and clicked outside the box and generated the design then i waited then i got the notification that it was ready then i saw the colours were the default ones.
