Plat is unbearable

I got to plat 1 less than a month ago, hit plat 2, back to plat 1 almost gold 3. Sometimes it’s opponents who aren’t that good but I have a tm8 who is boosted, or the majority of the time I have to go against air rolling sweats while I have a boosted gold 2 on my team. I don’t think it should be this way, but I do know I’m partially at fault do to my game sense exceeding my mechs (I have none). Has plat been like this for anyone else or do I need to lock in?
