Welcome to the Rocket League Power Rankings!

Each week, our committee will be ranking the best teams based on a variety of criteria as well as providing commentary on the teams who make it into the Top 10. The committee is comprised of players, content creators, fans, analysts, & coordinators to help diversify opinions and come to a general consensus. Each committee member has their own method for determining team rankings (ranging from stat-tracking to instinct), but they only count for a single vote since the individual ranks are averaged together. Each member will also list a team that didn't quite make the Top 10, but they feel is on the rise and should be watched.

While we do our best to ensure that we are fair and impartial, it is important to remember that these are just opinions and will most likely change weekly. If you have any questions, thoughts, or suggestions, please send them our way. We’d love to hear from you!

FlipSid3 Tactics

Roster: Markydooda, Kuxir97, M1k3Rules

While the prolonged absence of M1k3rules has left fans wondering about the future of Flipsid3 Tactics, a series of incredibly talented substitutes have filled his shoes. Most notably, captain of Supersonic Avengers, ELMP, who stepped up this week with a stellar performance that allowed F3 to take hold of the Winner's Bracket at Rocket Royale and, despite dropping the first Best of 5 in the Grand Final, recover enough to win the entire tournament. ELMP was a shining star for Flipsid3 while Markydooda and Kuxir performed at their usual high standard. With Gfinity also in their pocket, the top of the hill is a hard climb for any team other than Flipsid3 Tactics.

Swarm Gaming

Roster: Paschy90, De_boer_bros, Stocki1997

Swarm Gaming can, most of the time, be very hard to read. Some weeks, they look fragile and lost. But other weeks, like this week, they return to form and take solid grasp of the #2 spot in Europe. The team runs hot and cold, but when they're hot, they're dangerous, and this week they stood their ground against their rivals in Flipsid3 Tactics. Despite claiming one Best of 5 series in the Grand Finals of Rocket Royale, they dropped the second 1-3 and took home the silver medal yet again. Swarm would also lose to Flipsid3 in Gfinity, but in the semi-finals, which opened the door for Smokin Rockets. However, following Sunday's tournament, Swarm made a move that they feel might help them grasp that #1 spot by bringing on Gambit, formerly of NA team Kings of Urban. With the move, Stocki will join Team Shazoo (now known as Noble eSports RL), but will give Swarm an interesting dynamic in a very aggressive striker who compliments their overall style nicely. Only time will tell if this move pays off or blows up.

Complain

Roster: X3MW, Dadoo, JHZER, Yemen

Alright, I just HAD to write about Complain this week. The opportunity is too great. Alright, are you guys ready for my totally 100% unbiased viewpoint on their performance this week? Sweet, listen up. So, after last week's stellar performance at winning Rocket Royale undefeated, Complain had a reputation to live up to, and it wasn't an easy one. Word on the street is that during this week's GFinity they faced Smokin' Rockets in round 2. Surely this is a fairly comfortable win for Complain...right? Well, it probably could've been, but apparently Yemen missed an open goal at one point and quit the game right then and there. He got so mad that he quit the tournament mid-match and left his teammates in the dark, where they lost 3-1. I mean, that...is...hilarious! In this man's humble opinion, it's only a matter of time before X3MW and Dadooh start looking for a new teammate. Anyway, of course Yemen went back on his word for the 85,297th time and played during RocketRoyale. They put up a pretty solid fight, beating Titanium Ricochet 3-0 in round 1, but were knocked down 3-1 in round 2 by SWARM. Then, in the losers' bracket , they beat both Apollo 11 and Cosmic Aftershock 3-2, which is highly impressive. However, SWARM took them down once more in a 3-0 sweep. The future of Complain is unclear, mainly due to the attitude of Yemen, but one thing is clear, Yemen is quite the character and will provide many more hours of entertainment in the weeks to come.

Doomsee

Team Shazoo

Roster: Oneill_Clan, Vogan, Skyline, Meeps

Team Shocket did fairly standard this week. During GFinity's run they met up with Dot Dot Dot in round 3, and were faced with a surprising 3-2 loss. During the RocketRoyale qualifiers, after beating Wrecking Gaming RL 3-0, they faced Dot Dot Dot yet again, only to be knocked out 3-2 once more. Can Shazoo redeem themselves and defeat Dot Dot Dot? Well, perhaps so, since Shazoo have now picked up their newest addition to the squad: Stocki1997, after SWARM decided to boot Stocki out and replace him with Gambit, after he left Kings of Urban right in the middle of a tournament! Gambit showing us all his fantastic sportsmanship once more. I wish Stocki all the best with Shazoo. They are definitely a team to continue to watch in the future. BREAKING NEWS: Literally as I am typing this, Shazoo have just been aquired by Noble eSports! It's great to see a lot of teams getting picked up, and I wish the team all the best!

Doomsee

Team Rocket

Roster: Doomsee, I Am A Tree, Noir1992, Cole

What can you say about Team Rocket that hasn't already been said? Coming off of their first major tournament win at ESL last week, Team Rocket put all their eggs in the Gfinity and Rocket Royale baskets. Unfortunately, neither panned out as well as Rocket would have hoped, and they'll be forced to attempt to re-qualify for Rocket Royale this Saturday. There will come a time, however, where something big will click for Team Rocket. To me, they're like a puzzle without a piece; a Rubix's Cube with every side solved but one; a game of chess with a King stuck in check. Team Rocket is a team that checks every box: talented, communicative, smart. But winning at a consistent pace is their biggest obstacle, though same can be said for their rivals/brothers in Noble eSports RL (fmr Team Shazoo). While ESL was a big breakthrough, Rocket's time will come. Count on it.

Dot Dot Dot

Roster: Ash, BicycleThief, Maestro

Holy mother of Judith, where did this team come from!? In just two weeks Dot Dot Dot have shot up faster than a teenage boy in gym shorts. In this week's GFinity, Dot Dot Dot faced Shazoo and slapped them down with a 3-2 victory, only to come tumbling down at the hands of SWARM in a 3-0 loss during the next round. Dot Dot Dot wasn't going to take this. They needed to redeem themselves, and they damn well did, taking out both Team Rocket and Shazoo in the RocketRoyale qualifiers. However, both Team Rocket and Shazoo were using their subs. Dot Dot Dot was't quite so successful during Rocket Royale however, where they lost 3-1 to Flipsid3 Tactics during round one (taking one game from them is pretty impressive though), and narrowly losing 3-2 to Apollo 11 in the loser's bracket. Dot Dot Dot are showing that they have some grit and are not to be taken lightly.

Doomsee

Smokin Rockets

Roster: Desgadelhado, Fredd97, Techtox, Scrub Killa

Last week, Smokin Rockets blazed their way on to the Power Rankings for the very first time. Since then, they've managed to beat the likes of Teamus Weamus, Torched, Spectral, Complain, & even Team Rocket! With their only losses coming from FlipSid3 Tactics, Swarm, & Team Solid, this squad has definitely performed well enough to retain their spot. Though this team may be relatively new to the rankings, they've been around for quite awhile (albeit with some roster changes along the way). If they continue on the path they've been on lately, they could very well start contending with Shazoo, Rocket, & Complain for 3rd!

CloudFuel

PeaceHaters

Roster: xGodLiightx, Killerno7, Sikiicem

Unfortunately we didn't have anything to go off of from the PeaceHaters this past week. Their is little doubt that this is a very talented team and they've definitely piece together an impressive resume over the past month, but the weekly rankings are over 80% about what a team has done lately. So, they'll need to get back to their competing & winning ways if they want to stop their free fall or else they may quickly find themselves falling right out of the Power Rankings.

CloudFuel

Ka-Pow

Roster: al0t, SniperKid138, Dkyhnee

KAPOW! That's the sound of Ka-Pow charging their way into the top 10 this week. During this week's ESL they stormed to the finals and won the ESL Cup #13 championship in a blaze of glory! They beat Spectral in the finals 4-1, as well as many other highly ranked teams, such as Killer Moose Horde, Teamus Weamus, and Generation of Billys. This fantastic victory has earned them their number 9 spot in this week's power rankings.

Doomsee

YouMyZero

Roster: Linkuru, Anduru, D3tin

YouMyZero were a little inconsistent this week, but they seem to have done just enough to squeeze by Spectral and earn the 10th place in this week's Power Rankings. In the Rocket Royale Qualifiers, they took Swarm to 5 games before finally bowing out of the competition. Then, in ESL Cup #13, they made their way up to the Semi-Finals before losing to Spectral 0-3. Along the way they beat Wrecking RL in 3 games and Killer Moose Horde in 4 games to take home 3rd place. This squad definitely has the skill to be able to stay in the Top 10, but consistency and a little bit of luck will go a long way towards ensuring that happens. They'll need to perform well this week as Spectral, Torched, Teamus Weamus, and a slew of other teams are hot on their trail ready to try and take them out of the frame. YouMyZero will need to prove that the pace isn't too fast or they just won't last.
