Welcome to the Rocket League Power Rankings!

Each week, our committee will be ranking the best teams based on a variety of criteria as well as providing commentary on the teams who make it into the Top 10. The committee is comprised of players, content creators, fans, analysts, & coordinators to help diversify opinions and come to a general consensus. Each committee member has their own method for determining team rankings (ranging from stat-tracking to instinct), but they only count for a single vote since the individual ranks are averaged together. Each member will also list a team that didn't quite make the Top 10, but they feel is on the rise and should be watched.

While we do our best to ensure that we are fair and impartial, it is important to remember that these are just opinions and will most likely change weekly. If you have any questions, thoughts, or suggestions, please send them our way. We’d love to hear from you!

FlipSid3 Tactics

Roster: M1k3rules, Markydooda, Kuxir97

The gents of FlipSid3 Tactics find themselves in a bit of an odd situation this week. They're still ranked #1, unanimously, due to the fact that they played well in Rocket Royale even with Alieuzz subbing in for M1k3Rules. However, they seemed to have some fairly stiff competition from the likes of newcomers Team Complain. With rumors abound that M1k3Rules is stepping away from FlipSid3 Tactics for awhile, this once utterly dominant team's future is starting to be questioned. With Complain hot on their heels, they'll need to get sorted out sooner rather than later if they want to retain their foothold on the EU throne.

Roster: Yemen, X3MW, Dadoo, JHZER

Someone strapped a rocket-pack to the backs of Complain and shot them straight up the Power Rankings list this week, but it all comes courtesy of an amazing showing at this past Sunday's Rocket Royale tournament. Dominating the Winner's Bracket and taking out a partially under-powered Flipsid3 Tactics, Complain is setting the bar high and may be closing in on that top spot before you even know it.

Swarm Gaming

Roster: Paschy90, De_Boer_Brothers, Stocki1997

Swarm Gaming have had an uncharacteristically off week for some reason. They struggled to win a single game in Rocket Royale, but had a decent run in Gfinity's Cup until they were 3-1'd by an unranked Wrecking RL squad. They'll now have to re-qualify to attend Rocket Royale, but will be amid some tough company in the Qualifiers with the likes of Team Shazoo, Team Rocket, & PeaceHaters all vying for a spot as well. This team has been on the verge of upending FlipSid3 a number of times, but for now they seem to be spiraling out the other way.

Team Shazoo

Roster: Oneill_Clan, Vogan, Skyline, Meeps

According to the laws of the universe, it was Shazoo's time to beat Team Rocket this week, evening out the Team Rocket Vs. Shazoo series rivalry 2-2, in a ridiculously close full 5 matches during the Rocket Royale Qualifiers. During the Rocket Royale finals, they managed to get an impressive 2-0 win over vQ Untethered, with only one of them being a default win! Unfortunately they lost to Flipsid3 and Cosmic Aftershock in straight games shortly after, which is understandable. Omgloltheylosttheysucksomuch! So with all of this, they did a switcharoo with Team Rocket to bump back up to the number 4 spot. It's like musical chairs at the moment.

Team Rocket

Roster: Doomsee, I Am A Tree, Noir1992, Cole

Bring your party hats and noise-makers, ladies and gentlemen! Team Rocket has won their first major tournament! With a tremendous run through ESL's Europe Cup on Sunday, Team Rocket finally scored a well-deserved tournament win, something I'm sure they hope to carry into the next Rocket Royale Qualifiers. While they're still running close to their friendly rivals in Team Shazoo, Rocket still has room to improve to own a higher place in the power rankings going forward.

Roster: xGodLiightx, Killerno7, Sikiicem

PeaceHaters have been up and down a bit lately. During this week's GFinity, they stormed to the finals and claimed the title, beating teams like Wrecking RL (who in turn beat SWARM) and Smokin' Rockets, but was destroyed in a 3-0 loss to WhoNeedsName in RO64 during this week's ESL. They haven't exactly done disastrously, but with the help of Team Rocket, Shazoo, and Complain all performing well, they have been bumped down to number 6.

Supersonic Avengers

Roster: Sfex3best, ELMP, Onno_ole

The Supersonic Avengers didn't really have much going on this week as they were quickly knocked out of the Rocket Royale Qualifiers by the eventual winners, Complain. They've done enough in the past to warrant only dropping 1 spot this week but will need to ensure that they are regularly competing at the highest level and defeating teams around them if they want to maintain their residency in the Top 10.

Smokin Rockets

Roster: Desgadelhado, Fredd97, Techtox, Scrub Killa

Smokin' Rockets come blasting into the top 10 this week to take the number 8 spot, with a very impressive ESL run, reaching the Semi-Finals and losing to Dot Dot Dot in a close 3-2 series. They also made it to the quarter finals during GFinity, only to be taken out by Peacehater. Smokin' Rockets have performed pretty well in past tournaments, and combined with this week, brings them into our top 10.

Roster: Papadu, Alphaman, Karma, Unicorn

Torched has been the sort of team which has regularly found themselves on the verge of accomplishing big things, but coming just a little bit shy. However, their accomplishments have not been ignored, and by finally breaking into the top 10, Torched will be looking to only go up from here. With the growing popularity of Rocket Royale, Torched will be looking to make a statement in the qualifiers, and barring that, making progress in the next ESL Europe Cup tournament to hold onto this place.

Dot Dot Dot

Roster: Ash, BicycleThief, NastyNiick, DetFjong

Dot Dot Dot (also known as an ellipsis) is something you typically use to indicate a long pause. Apparently, it's also a new Rocket League team and, based on how they performed this week, a pretty good one at that! In their ESL debut last week, they were quickly taken out by Team Rocket. This week, however, they managed to knock out a few teams along the way before ultimately falling again to Team Rocket (I smell the beginning of a rivalry). These up and comers blazed past Firewall (3-1), upended YouMyZero (3-0), and narrowly squeezed by Smokin' Rockets (3-2) to make it all the way to the Finals of ESL Cup #12. There they lost 0-4, but still showed enough along the way to warrant a spot amongst the ranked teams. They'll be tested this upcoming week, however, and will need to string together another series of favorable results to keep from dropping out.
