Welcome to the Rocket League Power Rankings!

Each week, our committee will be ranking the best teams based on a variety of criteria as well as providing commentary on the teams who make it into the Top 10. The committee is comprised of players, content creators, fans, analysts, & coordinators to help diversify opinions and come to a general consensus. Each committee member has their own method for determining team rankings (ranging from stat-tracking to instinct), but they only count for a single vote since the individual ranks are averaged together. Each member will also list a team that didn't quite make the Top 10, but they feel is on the rise and should be watched.

While we do our best to ensure that we are fair and impartial, it is important to remember that these are just opinions and will most likely change weekly. If you have any questions, thoughts, or suggestions, please send them our way. We’d love to hear from you!

We Dem Girlz (Now Northern Gaming)

Roster: Remkoe, gReazy, Maestro

In Rocket Royale this week, We Dem Girlz took absolutely every single team to school and taught them the fundamentals of astrophysics. They also taught them how to play Rocket League by obliterating them. They won Rocket Royale without losing a single game, which included a 2-0 over 3SIXTY, a 2-0 over eXtatus, a 3-0 over Miracle Workers, a 3-0 over Aeriality and then to add their frosty icing to their already delicious cake, they 4-0ed Flipsid3 Tactics. Splendid.

They also played in GFinity on Friday, but had al0t as a sub. They did manage to beat The Flying Dutchmen 3-1 in the semi finals however, but then lost 4-3 to Savage! who had super sub Paschy in.

The biggest news for We Dem Girlz this week however is that they were picked up by Northern Gaming, a Canadian organisation. So say goodbye to We Dem Girlz because they're rocking their new name, Northern Gaming.

Mock-it eSports EU

Roster: Paschy90, Turbopolsa, Sikii

Mockit only participated in one tournament this week, with that being Rocket Royale on Sunday. In the group phase they played AoN beating them 2-0, then beat Aeriality 2-0 to progress to the knockouts. Mockit’s first game in the knockouts was against Cow Nose, who they dispatched 3-0. They then faced F3 in the semi’s finals, where they lost 3-2 in a close series. However their two wins against F3 last week, was enough in most rankers eyes to keep them above F3 for this week!

Flipsid3 Tactics

Roster: Markydooda, Kuxir97, M1k3rules, mye_bipod_4shor

FlipSid3 Tactics remain in 3rd place this week, having participated in Gfinity and Rocket Royale. In Gfinity they went out rather strangely in the first round to a pick-up-team. In Rocket Royale however they had somewhat greater success. In the group stage they 2-0’d Low Land Lions and won 2-1 over New Archon. In the knockouts they 3-0’d eXtatus and then took out Mock-it EU 3-2. Following this result, you may therefore wonder why F3 are not above Mock-it. Over the past few weeks Mock-it have gotten the better of F3 for the most part, beating them in every instance, not to mention Mock-it have had generally greater success in tournament runs. After defeating Mock-it in this Rocket Royale, F3 then lost 0-4 to Northern Gaming (Ex WDG) in the final.

Roster: Grandmaster Sexay, Friisisch, FreaKi

Team ENJOY - like many teams - only participated in one tournament. That tournament being Monday's GFinity, where their most significant result was a series win over Supersonic Avengers (3-1). They followed up that series with a loss against Savage plus Paschy as a super-sub.

Part of the reason you see them move up is the performances of the teams above them. This is probably the highest point in the rankings you'll see ENJOY reach until they can beat any of the current top 5 teams consistently.

Supersonic Avengers

Roster: ELMP, Snaski, Doomsee, Kasabi

Supersonic Avengers only entered Monday’s Gfinity this week, where they made it all the way to the quarter finals. On their run to the quarters they beat Tempest 2-0, and a good 3-0 victory against eXtatus. However in the quarter finals, they ran into Team Enjoy, who defeated them 3-1, ending their Gfinity run.

SA have been rather inactive of late mainly due to ELMP having exams, with therefore his main focus understandably being on his studies, rather than RL. However ELMP’s exams are now over so expect to see SA being much more active in the coming weeks!

Roster: Bluey, Deevo

Savage! had a rather splendid week if you ask me. You didn't ask? Oh well I'm going to tell you anyway and you're going to listen. They played in two GFinitys last week, and they won both of them! Mental! On Monday they 3-0ed Precision Z, 3-0ed Aeriality, 3-1ed Team Enjoy and then 4-1ed the very well known 15°N, 44°E in the finals. That name just rolls right off the tongue. On Friday they had Paschy sub in for them, now thay Kaydop is out the band. They beat Precision Z again (3-2) in the Semi-Finals and then beat We Dem Girlz (with al0t as sub) in the finals. Hey, that's pretty neat, Savage!

The Flying Dutchmen

Roster: Dogu, Jessiepinkmaan, PauliepauINL, Vogan

The Flying Dutchmen have been on a bit of a break of “being at all good” lately, and have probably just been spending their time trying to steal Spongebob’s soul. They played Friday’s Gfinity, and did as expected, beating poor teams, and crown and jewels before falling to We Dem Girlz 1-3. Winning the series against Crown and Jewels 3-2 would have been very impressive a few weeks ago, and it is a good result, but with their incredibly poor form of late, it's not quite as impressive.

This would probably have kept them solid in 5th place, but their run in Rocket Royale was really something dreadful. They beat Uniquestars 2-0,. but continued this to lose 0-2 to Unspecified (a team not in the top 16 of last week's power rankings) followed by a loss to Cow Nose 1-2, (who were 11th place). Losing to two teams outside of the top 10, and not being able to make the knockout phase, was an exceptionally poor result, knocking them down two places. Although i would argue that The Flying Dutchmen are overall better than their current position would suggest, with the weekly nature of the power rankings, and the poor form they’ve shown recently, they cannot keep onto their long held middle spot.

Roster: Piksel, Continuum, Metsanauris

Aeriality climb up one spot in this week’s rankings into 8th. They participated in the Monday Gfinity as well as Rocket Royale. In Gfinity their only game of note was an 0-3 loss to Savage, except Savage had Paschy playing for them as a super-sub, so this result holds no value. In Rocket Royale is where Aeriality demonstrated a strong performance. They first came up against Rapid Shots and cleanly 2-0’d them. They then were defeated 2-0 by Mock-it EU, and then came back in the loser’s bracket final to beat Zixter’s team 2-0. Come the knockouts, Aeriality had a very positive 3-1 victory over Unspecified, who had previously taken out The Flying Dutchmen and Cow Nose. In the semi-finals Aeriality were then defeated 3-0 by Northern Gaming (Ex WDG). Showing some solid performances was enough for Aeriality to climb to 8th this week due in part to Crown and Jewels’ significant drop-off as well as the instability of other teams around them.

Cow Nose

Roster: Nielskoek, SAKSEN, Mognus, Zensuz

Another team that only participated in one tournament this week is Cow Nose but it was Rocket Royale. They didn't start too hot by losing to fellow top 10 contending team in Unspecified but picked up the slack by beating Uniquestars and upsetting The Flying Dutchmen to qualify for Knockout Phase of Royale. Their Royale run would stop there though, sine they lost expectedly to Mock-it EU.

They are in the same position as Team ENJOY with how they got their spot in the rankings, by teams around them not performing as well as they could have.

Crown & Jewels

Roster: Sebadam, Flarke, Scrub Killa, Kaydop

Crown and Jewels have been taking some coaching from Roy Hodgson recently, and with all the great expectation they’ve had, they’ve played exactly like the England football team. On the Friday Gfinity they did ok, and like the England football, gave some hope by playing well without winning. They played solidly up until losing to The Flying Dutchmen 2-3, and a tight series against TFD is solid, but not massively impressive at the current moment.

Forward to Sunday, they lost against eXatus 0-2 to start, a solid upcoming team, but not one who Crown and Jewels should ever be losing to, a pretty awful start. Next they faced off against Icela… ahem, 3SIXTY, a team who have been performing poorly lately, and C+J lost 1-2, knocking themselves out of the tournament. This poor tournament, mixed with the lack of beating any top teams lately, has pushed Crown and Jewels down quite heavily. It is possible this may have been the reason the sponsorship of Crown and Jewels retired from Rocket League. A shame, for a brand that has been around Rocket League for quite some time, and reached some top heights with their RLC Pro League win. The actual team will be staying together sponsorless for the time being, and for a team full of such amazing talent, i can’t help but feel they’ll push back to the top. Maybe they just need to replace Roy Hodgson.
